If you have never been to a chiropractor before, and are not sure how to select a good one, then you might want to ask the following questions:

  1. Is the chiropractor experienced? Has he been treating patients for a long time? The more experienced the chiropractor is, the more effective the adjustments will be.  Dr. Fish has been a chiropractor for over 27 years and has adjusted thousands of patients. Most of his patients feel better after the first treatment, and don’t require any follow up visits.  Therefore he successfully eliminates their pain and discomfort.
  2. How much time will the chiropractor spend with me?  Fish spends close to 1/2 to 1 hour with every new patient. He takes his time to be thorough, and adjust every part of the body—not necessarily just the area  that feels painful or misaligned.  Will the chiropractor do a thorough and complete examination and diagnosis?  Fish does a complete and thorough examination prior to rendering a diagnosis and treatment.
  3. On the average, how many adjustments will be necessary before I can get relief? Most patients feel better after the first adjustment, but sometimes will require further treatment; it all depends on the patient’s condition, how long their body has been out of alignment, and what type of injury, if any, the patient has experienced.
  4. Has the chiropractor had any negative complaints against him? Dr. Fish is in good standing with the malpractice insurance company and has never had a claim brought against him.
  5. Is the chiropractor licensed? Is he in good standing with the chiropractic board?  Dr. Fish is licensed in both California and Arizona, and is in good-standing with both state boards.
